Holequest were commissioned to undertake a range of works including investigation drilling to inform remedial anchoring works and assist in the stabilisation of this ancient castle, which is located near Wick in Scotland.

Over a series of contracts, we undertook cliff face inspection and stability assessments and investigatory drilling within the structure. We then installed a series of Cintec International Ltd anchors of various diameters, lengths, and orientations, between 3m and 11m, from horizontal through to near vertical, all with a view to providing structural integrity to the structure.
