Marine Ground Investigation Helping marine construction projects to withstand nature
Specialist over-water ground investigation works
Holequest have been undertaking over-water ground investigation works since the early 1980’s from Shetland in the north to as far south as Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands.
Marine ground investigations are predominantly near-shore investigations for ports, harbours, dredging assessments, cable or pipe routes and remedial works assessments.
We have a highly experienced team and are specialists in this field.
Investigation access takes many forms but is principally quayside cantilever access for boreholes immediate to existing structures, floating ‘spud barge’ access within harbours / ports where waters are more sheltered, or jack-up barge access for more exposed locations and deeper waters.
Accreditation & Standards Compliance
